To mark the 20th Anniversary of the Forde Inquiry and in recognition of the estimated 500,000 Forgotten Australians, documentation of the memorial sites of former homes and institutions across Queensland commenced this year.
We would like to thank those who have supported the Forde Foundation over the last two decades and acknowledge the strength of those with lived experience of institutional child abuse. Their courage and determination to tell the truth and break the silence then and now is important for us all.
